HWPL: Making Peace for next generation HWPL HWPL is a non-governmental organization registered with the Seoul Metropolitan Government of the Republic of Korea. HWPL stands for H eavenly Culture, W orld P eace, Restoration of L ight. It means that world peace can be made a better place by heavenly culture, which is better than the world's culture. The representative of this organization is Man Hee Lee, who has done many things to achieve peace, such as 31 world peace tours, the union of Mindanao What is the heavenly culture ?   The way to turn the world into a better place is Legislating DPCW, Peace Education, Peace Letters, and the Alliance of Religions.     The logo is that picture.   the pigeon in the logo symbolizes peace. which means that a messenger makes a peace reality.   the earth's shape in front of the pigeon is the no-war future.   the slogan of HWPL is "Together, Peace!"  All of the 7.7 billion people living in the same generation have t...

  Have you gone through the damage of the war? I haven't directly. but my ancestors had done.   They had been in the Korean War which broke out in 1950. As a result, the Korean War has made my country cut into two sides. It is a national tragedy. So I can't go to North Korea though I want to. When I read articles about my country, I want to do things for the country.   I found many NGOs for peace, but I choose HWPL. Because HWPL has many things to solve the problem of the war. It has DPWC(an international law for peace), an alliance of religions, and peace education.   the chairman of HWPL, Manhee Lee, had gone through the Korean War and fought for his country.
