IWPG’s Women’s Peace Education Graduation Ceremony in Nigeria: A Small Beginning That Can Change Communities
These days, the word peace has felt a bit distant to me. But reading this article reminded me that peace doesn’t start with grand declarations—it starts with individual choices. The graduation ceremony for IWPG’s 3rd Women’s Peace Education program in Nigeria felt like a scene of hope in itself. The 25 graduates who diligently completed the nine-week program— Even through the screen, their smiles and determination came through clearly. What stayed with me most was the message: “Graduation is not the end—it’s the beginning.” It was a warm reminder to let the peace they learned flow naturally—from their homes, to their neighbors, and into their communities.
