[Review] HWPL Peace Seminar: Journey Toward a Vision of Peace

The peace seminar hosted by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) was held online over four sessions from November 18 to 25. The seminar particularly addressed the Korean War and the Jammu and Kashmir conflict, discussing the necessity and possibility of achieving peace. More than 60 participants, including representatives from JKIC (Jammu Kashmir Institute of Counselling) and AMPA (All Media Press Association) Jammu kashmir regional president, as well as Dean from Central University of Kashmir, actively participated in the sessions.

The seminar began with an introduction to HWPL’s founding background and its core activities. This was followed by a meaningful time of looking back on the tragedy of war and conflict through the history of Korean war and the Jammu and Kashmir conflict, and reexamining the importance of peace. Participants also engaged in a meaningful “Peace Letter Writing”, where they experienced the practical significance of peace activities aimed at leaving a legacy of peace for future generations.

Through the HWPL news, I came to realize that understanding the importance of peace requires gaining insight into the experiences of countries affected by war and conflict. Spreading the value of peace across the world is a truly meaningful endeavor. HWPL has been leading this effort, and I wholeheartedly support their journey toward achieving global peace this year.
